Curious about local real estate?

Curious about local real estate? So am I! Every month I review trends in our real estate market and consider the number of homes on the market in each price tier, the amount of time particular homes have been listed for sale, specific neighborhood trends, the median price and square footage of each home sold and so much more. I'd love to invite you to do the same!

Blast from the Past: Drive-in Movie Theaters

With COVID shuttering movie theaters, movie goers are instead turning to drive-in movie theaters.

Do you remember going to a drive-in theater? Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, my family and I used to go to the Winnetka Drive-in Theater in Chatsworth (now the Pacific Winnetka Theater) to watch movies. I remember piling into the back seat of our family’s station wagon with my brother, in our comfy pajamas and our hands full of snacks. We would bring our pillows and blankets, and it made for quite a fun experience!

I’m glad to see drive-in theaters making a comeback. Here are a few to check out:

1. Vineland Drive-in, 443 Vineland Ave, City of Industry, CA 91746

2. Paramount Drive-in, 7770 Rosecrans Avenue, Paramount, CA 90723

3. Mission Tiki, 10798 Ramona Ave, Montclair, CA 91763
